| Proposed Analysis: | We seek to generate a surrogate measurement to comprehensively quantify the severity of small vessel ischemia through three well known manifestations of small vessel ischemia, including microbleeds, lacunes and white matter hyperintensity. Given this, we are requesting for the access to the datasets of ADNI and AIBL in order to develop the quantitative algorithm for determining severity of small vessel ischemia and examine the impact of small vessel ischemia on long-term cognitive performance of healthy controls, patients with mild cognitive impairment or Alzheimer’s disease. In addition, we are requesting for the access to ADNIDOD dataset in order to examine the applicability of our algorithm to other neurological and psychiatric disorders. |
